Can I be a TV-Expert too?

The Lost-Sepcial on Premiere cracks me up.

They have a "TV-Expert" commenting on the greatness and well deserved success of the show because of its new and exciting ability to awesomely combine the real worldly stuff with supernatural elements.
Aha. Mind telling me then, why it is, that about 7 episodes into the Second Season, I`m bored to tears with BOTH? And somehow I don`t think I`m the only one.

He also commented on Evangeline Lilly as the one cast member with the brightest prospects for the future, because she conveys both vulnerability and toughness (and some might even say annoyingness *g*) and she has a fresh new face.
Hm, I don`t know about that. Kate Beckinsale used this face quite a bit in the last years. But maybe that`s just me. :-)

So I have just one question, how in the hell do you get to be a TV-Expert?

And can I please get this one in a room with mareen? I imagine this could be quite funny, in a "antilope is ripped to shreds by a lioness"-way. *g*

*sigh* Twin Peaks, anyone? Battlestar Galactica? And there's probably more if I give it a bit more thought.
Besides: The shows PTB have repeatedly stated there is no supernatural element to the show. It's all explainable by science.

ecause she conveys both vulnerability and toughness

And all with one facial expression!!ONE1!!1!

heh. *eg*

What's the name of that expert by the way?

Yeah, but that would mean putting actual research in the show before you comment on it. Can`t have that.
Given his blabla attitude I`m not even sure he ever watched it or if that is just stuff he read/heard about the Show.

More proof of her awesomness. Other actors actually need to change their expressions to convey different emotions, she does it with just one. *g*

And after meeting Ana-Lucia (whoever thought THAT character was a good idea?), I`m not sure what`s worse, the MarySue or the Abrasive Hateful Bitch?

What's the name of that expert by the way?

I didn`t pay too much attention to catch it, sorry. I just remeber that on the bottom of the screen it said "TV Expert" or something. Cracked me up. *g*
Maybe if it comes on again, I`ll get the actual name.

Honey, you ARE a TV-Expert already.
Didn't they realize it yet in the United States?
I guess we just were to well-behaved at our last convention-visits. :-)

However @Evangeline Lilly:
I have to admit I kinda like her and grant her to incorporate both vulnerabilty and toughness - and therefore I guess she WOULD be a great Wonder Woman.

Awww, thank you. I wasn`t sure if insane amounts of actually watching it would suffice.

I`ve developed an intense disliking to any character that strikes me even remotely as the writer-intented MarySue who everybody fawns about and who is so great and special you just have to love them. *headdesk*
I hate them just out of spite. After all a whole freaking universe loves them, so why should I?

Like in the first season when she suddenly decided she wanted on the raft and conned Sawyer out of his place. And then when he retaliated and told everybody she was the prisoner on the plane, she looked all doe-eyed and hurt like: "OMG, how could you DO this to me?" And I had the feeling the writers wanted me to agree with her there.
Which I so totally didn`t. Sorry lady, the world is not supposed to bend over backwards to fit your needs and wants. You fight dirty, the others are entitled to that as well.

Well "insane amounts of actually watching" tv - that's the core necessarity to be(come) a tv expert :-)

@Lilly again:
I just watched - hm, about the first 10 eps of Lost and didn't watched the eps you're referring to so I didn't realize how she's behaved later on Lost.
However.
The LOOK is absolutely right. And doe eyes are a necessarity for innocent WW coming from an island far from here for the first time in the world of MAN :-)
