Second Season News

Article

Yay, looking really good there for our little show. I would at least consider that semi-official.

And I already read some wishes for possible Season 2 plotlines, at the top of the list:

Dean teaching Sam how to get out of chokeholds. Bwahaha.

Yay! I'm starting to feel a little more cheered and hopeful now :-)

My wish is for the pool hustling scene, Dean doing his stuff being both utterly cool and devestatingly hot at the same time, with Sam sat at the bar watching him, whilst drinking from a cold bottle of beer and wishing he were just quite so cool/hot himself.

Good news! There seems to be more of a buzz about SPN lately, more press and awareness, so hopefully it will make it to the CW.

(BTW, I friended you. Hope that was okay? :))

I will keep my fingers crossed till May 18th.
And then, it will be a damn long hiatus. *sniffles* Maybe I can cure myself a bit of my obssession right now, but damn this show so OWNS me at the moment, it`s not even funny anymore.

(And friended right back. The more the merrier.:)

Is that when we'll know, May 18th? And then, a wait until October for the new season? Hopefully for season two, they won't put a weeks-long hiatus in the latter half of the season, like they did after The Benders and Shadow. I don't understand the logic in that; surely it hurts the ratings?

(Thanks! :) And true!)

On May 18th the CW will present their official upfronts for the new fall season, but word should be out a couple of days before that, I think.

Then I guess it will be September or October before we get our new SPN fix. I only hope they get the DVDs out before that and that they have many, many bonus features. I`d really love audio commmentaries by the actors and a gag reel etc.

As far es the hiatuses, yeah, they hurt the ratings in a big way. I mean, I understand the problem in making the show while they`re already showing it, they`ll need a few breaks in between to stay ahead in their schedule. But if the hiatus is too long, the casual viewers will lose interest and simply forget to check back.
But we`ll have to wait and see how the new CW will handle their scheduling and advertising.
