Little tidbits from Comic Con I gathered so far:

Aww, Grimm brought the entire cast. And they were cute together. From what was said, Season 2 sounds intriguing. Reveals about Renard to be expected soon. Yay.

Vampire Diaries - I had hoped to see a few new faces in the line-up but okay. Yeah, Zach Roerig was there but sorry, Matt is just the least interesting character for me. Gotta wholeheartedly agree with Damon there who will apparently not be a fan. Not that I think Matt is to be blamed for what Damon blames him for. Stefan is. And this seems to lead to the brothers hitting a really rough patch. Since basically, Stefan did it again, what with the woman Damon loves getting "killed". Ahem. :D

Personally, I'm happy Klaus will be back. Didn't think of him being angry at Rebekkah for killing off the Petrova line. Eek, guess Elena should have had a kid at 16 like those before her.

Klaus will only be in Tyler for two or three eps. Okay.

Matt Davis might be back here and there. Yay. Alaric/Damon for the win.

Meanwhile, Damon will stop trying to be nice since it didn't get him anywhere. Hm, I liked his semi-niceness but we'll see.

A cute story from the panel: a fan asked a question that maybe the Con people thought was going in the wrong direction and preemptively cut the mike on her. The cast boo-ed that decision, telling them not to do it anymore and that answering the questions was what they had come for and getting to ask these question was why the people had queued for hours. So to please let them ask whatever they wanted, as Ian said.

Now, from what I gathered, the real "question" that they cut was rather inocuous in the end. Just an excited fan wanting to say hi to Trevino. And yes, as a con goer those kinds of things are annoying if you want true questions and juicy answers but geeze, let them ask it for gods' sakes.

The Merlin panel wasn't on yet as far as I know but I saw a spoiler-y interview. Only Colin Morgan and Katie McGrath there, though. Too bad, I would have liked the whole cast, at least the core characters. Again

- the time gap will be three years
- Morgana will have been imprisoned for two of them by a as of yet unknown character, being driven crazy (as opposed to before where she was sane?" Oooo-kay.)

The unknown could be Mordred who has already been gathered to be a knight in training. And I swear if they are rehashing the same stupid plot of traitor in Camelot, Arthur is fooled and Merlin/Gaius are the jackasses who know but don't tell, Camelot gets taken, Arthur has major trust issues, Merlin "fixes" that by being more of a lying, manipulative jackass? I will kick something. Hard.

Screw the secret at this point. Screw it six ways from Sunday.

Lets see how SPN does today. Maybe they can finally give some spoiler that won't suck.

None of the spoilers for Merlin excite me. Mordred as one of Arthur's knights. Still no magic reveal. Gwen kidnapped by Morganna AGAIN! Meh. I was really excited for S4. This... No, just no.

Gwen kidnapped by Morganna AGAIN!

I hadn't read that. But geeze, seriously, are the writers that creatively bankrupt that they can only recycle old plots over and over again?

The only interesting thing I've heard so far is that Merlin and Mordred will be telepathically connected and that Merlin will be tempted to use darker magic.

On the other hand, Merlin's getting a love interest so... *cringes*

Why there was no Arthur? The actor is busy in something else?

Apparently he tweeted he couldn't make the Con. No idea why. Maybe he has a project or other commitments. :(

Ugh, I could totally do without Klaus, I can't stand the actor and the character got on my nerves from scene one. More Rebekkah and Elijah!

Otoh, if they kill off Tyler I'm going to be sooo pissed!

Hee, I'm kinda the opposite, I love Klaus and don't care much for Tyler. :D But I don't think they'll kill off either, at least that wasn't my understanding from the spoilers.

Also, unless they find a way around the "kill the creator vamp, kill all the line", Klaus has to be not fully dead. Because otherwise that would mean half the main cast is gone in one fell swoop. *g*

Rebekkah will for sure be back and since Elijah is included in the promo shots, I'd say he is a surefire go as well.

With Vampire Diaries, I'm kinda wait and see right now. So far I've enjoyed the show and haven't heard anything from Comic Con that I truly hated. Not all that much I squeed about either. More like interested vagueness. :)

So far the only show that keeps completely disappointing me spoiler-wise is Merlin. What a shame.
