We came in last at the Grand Prix thingie? Woops. Now I did not watch so I don`t know how the song was (performed) but I think the political favour-voting only catapults us down to the middle ranks so my guess would be song wasn`t all that either?

Didn't hear the song but it's No Angels--what do you expect? :-)

Well, Guildo Horn and Stefan Raab with a parody ranked in the middle spots so I`m not sure how bad it must have been to make us last.
Or are we that unpopular in Europe now? I know UK pretty much always comes last for the last few years for apparently that reason.

The song was immensely boring, the performance was bad - not only the boring costumes and choreography, but also the actual singing (screechy and occasionally out of tune). The UK ended up with as many points as we did, and that song and singer - while unspectacular - were definitely far better than Germany was.

We only got the points we did because of politics - two mercy points from Switzerland and 12 entirely undeserved ones from Bulgaria, because one of the No Angels is Bulgarian.

I think the UK has been coming in last for two or three years now though. Poor things, no voting allies left in all of Europe.

Ah, I see. Well, on the other hand 90 % of the voting seems to be political. I mean Greece will give 12 points to Cyprus and Cryprus will give 12 points to Greece, every damn year. And the Balkan connection will vote for each other as well.
